A round charcoal pot with a soft belly, three little feet holding it steady, and a flared dusty plum brim that turns outward at a crisp ridge line. It has a wide sleepy face on the front — a shallow smile with an upward peak at the centre and coral blush below each eye — and a wire-cored handle arching over the top. Draped over the rim is an optional sage slime friend with its own tiny face and a string of blobs spilling down the outside. 🧶
Written for advanced beginners, this one asks for single crochet, increases, decreases and two back-loop turn rounds.
The whole pot is one continuous piece worked bottom-up — flat base disc, a back-loop turn to lift the walls, sphere shaping out to the belly and back in to the neck, then a second back-loop turn into the brim. Nothing is stuffed; firm tension is what holds the walls up. Then the three feet, the handle and the slime friend are attached, with an optional stiff circle dropped inside if the base wants extra support.
Your download comes in English, in US crochet terms, with the materials list, gauge, assembly in order, troubleshooting and finishing details. The cauldron finishes 13.5 cm wide and 13 cm tall, 22 cm to the top of the handle.
