Maple is a warm orange fox with white cheek puffs, black ear tips and paws, a rust band across her middle and a bushy white-tipped tail. She holds a small mustard maple leaf with embroidered veins — properly autumnal, and lovely in soft chenille 🧶

She is beginner-friendly and remarkably low-sew. The head and body are worked top-down as one continuous piece, and the arms, tail and feet are all crochet-joined straight into body rounds, so the whole body assembles itself as you go.
