Tiger Amigurumi Crochet Pattern — Toby

Toby is a bright orange tiger with a soft white muzzle, a creamy belly disc, black-rimmed ears and embroidered stripes running down his sides. There is a small red ball to tuck between his white paws if you like. In chenille yarn he turns out plush and rounded, the kind of shape that begs to be squeezed 🧶

He is beginner-friendly all the way through. The head and body are worked as one continuous top-down piece with a subtle neck shaped by a single decrease-and-re-increase. The arms are crochet-joined during a body round and the tail during a later one, so neither needs sewing. Six small pieces are sewn at the end — two ears, the muzzle, the belly disc and two little toe pads — and the stripes, nose and mouth are simply embroidered on afterwards.
