A round little chipmunk with a soft off-white face and belly, brown back and ears, and a stitched-on striped panel running from the top of the head down the back to the base. The tail is a chubby brown tube, and there's a small brown nose sewn onto a stuffed muzzle. Big black safety eyes sit above the cheeks. It stands about 12–13 cm (5 inches) tall.

Every round is numbered with its stitch count, and progress photos follow the pieces as you go. The stitch list is short — single crochet, increases, decreases — but the colour changes happen mid-round, brown to off-white and back, all the way up the head and body.

The head and body grow as one continuous spiral, R1 straight through to R33, so there's no neck seam. Then seven small pieces sew on: two ears, two arms, two legs and the muzzle, plus the nose, the tail and that long striped panel. Ten pieces in all, none of them large.

Your download includes the pattern in English, French, Spanish and German, in US crochet terms, with a full materials list and finished size.

Take the colour changes slowly and the stripes will sit beautifully. 🧶
