Crochet Frog Pattern – Heartfelt Amigurumi Plush

Meet our heartfelt frog — a rounded little fellow in light green chenille, with a dark green stripe across his middle, a cream belly patch and two wide-set eye-domes perched on top of his head. A soft pink heart sits between his arms, and a pink embroidered smile curls up at both corners. He stands about 14 cm (5.5 in) tall, worked in chenille bulky yarn on a 4.0 mm hook.

The pattern calls him beginner-friendly and low-sew. It's single crochet, increases and invisible decreases throughout, with the stitch count in brackets at every round and clear notes on working with chenille — hook fully through both loops, tension snug, ends woven twice over. 

Head and body are one continuous piece from the crown down, with the stripe worked straight into the rounds. The arms are crochet-joined into round 17, so there's no arm sewing at all.
