If you have made a magic ring and worked a few spiral rounds, you can make Milo. His body is 23 rounds of single crochet in bulky chenille, so the fabric grows quickly under your hook. Increases, invisible decreases, and one optional bobble are all you need.

He is built top-down as one continuous piece — head and body together, with no seam between them. The arms, tail, and feet are crocheted straight into the body as you go, which means only four pieces are sewn: two cream lobes for the heart face, and two ears. The banana is optional.
