Crochet Unicorn Pattern – Stardust Amigurumi Plush

Meet Stardust — a soft cream unicorn with a gold spiral horn, a pastel rainbow mane curling over her crown and down her back, and a matching rainbow leaf tail. Pink paws, pink toe caps and a slim pink scarf finish her off, and a little gold star sits tucked between her arms. She stands about 14 cm (5.5 in) tall to the crown, worked in chenille bulky on a 4.0 mm hook with cotton accents on a 3.0 mm.

The file calls her a beginner make and it reads that way. Single crochet, increases and invisible decreases carry the body, with a little half double and double crochet in the star, tail and mane. Every round has its stitch count in brackets, plus notes on keeping tension firm so the chenille stays smooth.

Body and head are one capsule worked bottom-up from two joined stub feet, so there's no head to attach and no leg seams. The arms are crocheted straight into round 15. Sewn on afterwards: two ears, the horn, the mane, the tail and the star — five pieces, plus a scarf you simply tie. 💗
