Pumpkin Piglet Crochet Pattern – Willa and Nox

Willa and Nox are two round little piglets sitting inside their own pumpkins. Willa is ivory cream, with charcoal ears, a soft eye patch and a small bow. Nox is black, with a dusty lilac snout, a pointed witch hat and a copper band. Both sit on a ribbed orange pumpkin with a sage green leaf tucked beside the head. Finished, each one is 14 cm tall and 12 cm wide, with a head about 6.5 cm across 🧶

This is a confident-beginner make. It asks only for single crochet, increases, decreases, slip stitch, magic ring and chain, plus one needle-cinching step and a little embroidery.

The pumpkin is the piglet's body. Both the pumpkin and the head are worked top-down as single continuous spirals, then stacked, and the pumpkin's six lobes are formed after stuffing by cinching channels with a long needle — that one step is what turns a sphere into a pumpkin. Ten small pieces are sewn on afterwards.
