Crochet Devil Pattern – Inferno Buddy Amigurumi

Meet Inferno Buddy — a cheeky little devil in bright red plush yarn, with two small black horns tilted forward, a round black belly patch and a curled tail tipped in black. Black safety eyes and a soft embroidered smile keep him more sweet than spooky. He sits about 14 cm (5.5 in) tall, made in super bulky plush yarn with a 4.5 mm hook.

He's gentle on your hands and your nerves. Everything is single crochet, increases and invisible decreases — no special stitches at all — and the plush yarn works up quickly into that squishy velvet finish. Every round is written out in full in US crochet terms with the stitch count in brackets.

Each part is made separately as its own little ball or cone, then pinned and stitched into place: head, body, two arms, two legs, two horns, the belly patch and the tail. Nine attachments in all, and the pattern walks you through them in order, with pinning tips so nothing ends up lopsided. 💗
